Your new role – Inclusion Manager A highly successful, large scale global Law firm with an ambitious Inclusion Strategy, has created this new job opportunity. The company have 5 focus areas to inclusion which are disability, ethnicity, gender balance, LGBTQ and social mobility, and they have published action plans/targets relating to each of these. With wide support from Partners and colleagues across the business, this role will take a lead on Ethnicity & Gender and will focus specifically on these areas for the business working with a counterpart on other areas. Formulation and roll out of their strategic plans to improve ethnicity and gender inclusion at the firm and monitoring progress against targets. Establishing relationships with and galvanising support from key internal stakeholders to ensure optimum buy in to the inclusion agenda, with a particular focus on ethnicity and gender balance. Liaising with HR and L&D colleagues to ensure effective inclusion principles are embedded into all people policies and processes. Effectively creating and cascading internal communication messages and working closely with the PR team to ensure optimum external coverage of the firm’s initiatives. Facilitating or designing awareness-raising events and training sessions – both online and in person. Drafting our annual Pay Gap report and Inclusion Report. Jointly setting and managing the inclusion budget with the Inclusion Manager (Disability, LGBTQ , Social Mobility). Advising our international offices on inclusion issues. Representing the firm at external meetings, forums and networking events to determine best practice and share experiences. Ad hoc inclusion projects that may not fall to one particular inclusion workstream such as ethnicity or gender. The client is looking to pay a salary of c 50k and the role comes with a generous benefits package of 25 days holiday, company pension, life assurance, bonus, buy and sell holiday scheme, private medical cover and a list of others.
