Job Title: D&I Officer Location: Glasgow Contract Type : 4 days a week / 28 hour working week Contract Duration: 6 Months with view to extend Team Profile: The Human Resources Team has a requirement for a contingent/contract worker to assist their global team based in the London/Glasgow office. Throughout your contingent/contract assignment, you will be provided with a supportive and vibrant multinational environment, we accept individual differences and believe in collaborative team working. Our Human Resources team provides support and strategy at every level of the business. It helps firm and business unit management with strategic direction in employee recruiting, retention, development, inclusion and compensation. Our Talent Team support the recruitment, inclusion and development of our most important asset, our people. As we continue to develop our Inclusion and Diversity agenda, guided by our firm value to commit to Diversity and Inclusion, we are appointing an additional team member, reporting to our Glasgow Head of Talent. Primary Responsibilities: • You will support our current Diversity Talent Programmes ensuring that our programmes and content meet the needs of the employees we are supporting through review and evaluation. Collaborate locally and regionally on the development of new programmes to meet the needs of diverse employees. • You will support firm initiatives locally including, but not limited to: UK RACE at Work Charter; HM Treasury Women in Finance Charter; our UK Future Generation Scholarship Programme; our Step in Step Up Programme and our Return to Work Programme. • Collaborate locally and regionally to ensure that our Employee Networks are supported and aligned in their agendas. • Collaborate with our Talent Acquisition Teams on their D&I Talent Attraction strategies and programmes to ensure alignment, progress and to encourage new ideas. • Collaborate with our on boarding programme leads to ensure that we are supporting diverse employees. • Collaborate with our Data teams and HRBP’s on the development of metrics and reporting to monitor representation, advancement and culture throughout the employee life cycle. • Contribute to the efficiency of the team by initiating and/or implementing process improvement. Experience: You will bring experience of working in a commercial environment in a role that has supported the D&I agenda. This experience will have been gained in a D&I, recruitment, development or an HR generalist role. You will have demonstrated your ability to work with clients to positively affect the D&I agenda. Experience of preparing and delivering presentations, research and analysing data as well as developing creative D&I solutions is essential. CIPD qualification preferred.
