As Diversity Equity & Inclusion Adviser you will collaborate with Senior leaders, managers, and colleagues across Department to provide practical support for the successful implementation and delivery of the DE&I strategy. Client Details A very well know Animal Charity. Description The key responsibilities of the Diversity Equity & Inclusion Adviser in Woking will be: Support Head of DE&I with development of a new DE&I strategy, KPIs and ongoing strategy review Work collaboratively across departments with senior leaders/ managers and colleagues to deliver effectively and efficiently the DE&I Strategy incorporating local practice and variations. Role model WWF’s Values in daily work and interactions with others Be an DE&I subject matter expert at departmental SMT/team level to ensure strategic focus on this key initiative Work with colleagues to ensure WWF-UK is legally compliant in equality legislation. Act a critical advisor in service and practice development, property and facilities, review, and project planning to ensure DE&I is embedded at all stages Advise and support managers in developing and delivering DE&I objectives and assessing performance against them. Support departmental managers with delivery of corporate KPIs Collaborate with Senior leaders, managers, and colleagues across Department to provide practical support for the successful implementation and delivery of the DE&I strategy (to be developed) that will drive forward the cultural change needed to be a diverse and inclusive organisation. Use DE&I subject expertise to champion and share learning to empower and increase knowledge and capabilities across the organisation to embed DE&I in service delivery and business as usual activities across the organisation. Facilitate and present to senior leaders, DE&I champions, operational managers on the implementation of the DE&I Strategy (to be developed) Be the subject expert on DE&I and use this knowledge to implement and deliver initiatives and projects with a specialist focus on DE&I impact across service areas. Support and facilitate increasing the capability and confidence to embed DE&I into service delivery and business as usual working directly with working with different teams in each department Profile The successful Diversity Equity & Inclusion Adviser in Woking will have: A degree or similar level of qualification, ideally in equality and diversity, human rights, human resources or substantial experience of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion work Sound understanding of UK equality legislation including specific aspects relating to Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland In depth knowledge of diversity issues across the UK Delivering on DE&I projects, initiatives, and programmes in a complex organisation High level expertise in Equality Impact Assessment training completion, evaluation and action Supporting and empowering DE&I Champions, Working with staff groups/ networks Developing DE&I objectives or plans for departments/organisations Excellent time-management skills Project delivery Research, analysis, and review Communications Facilitation Developing good working relationships across organisation & networks IT & Digital skills Job Offer On offer to the successful candidate: Permanent role Salary up to 36,000 35 hours a week Office based in Woking Hybrid working options to work from home
