What would your day look like? Overseeing the development and implementation of DE&I strategy for the Aldermore group. Providing thought leadership and subject matter expertise to shape and refine our DE&I approach; challenging, innovating and helping us to think differently. Helping to build Aldermore’s reputation as a best practice employer, acting as an ambassador and spokesperson both internally and externally. Overseeing the governance of the ‘Value our Differences’ steering committee and Employee Network groups. Working with the Head of Performance & Development to link inclusive behaviour to performance, reinforce the link between inclusion and stronger teams and identify ways to embed and measure inclusive actions. Collaborating with the Wellbeing Partner to understand and leverage the links between wellbeing, inclusion and belonging to help create an environment where all colleagues are able to thrive and bring their best. Working with the Culture & Colleague Engagement Partner to identify touch points within the employee journey to ensure that moments that matter promote diversity and inclusivity; and Working in partnership with the Communications team to raise awareness and engagement What do we expect of you? In role experience in a Diversity and Inclusion position with the ability to provide thought leadership to stakeholders and colleagues in the space, leading on initiatives. This role would be part of the ESG committee and will help drive forward the agenda. Strategic thinking, planning and analysis skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions Deep subject matter expertise in DE&I with a strong network A proven track record of making a positive difference in DE&I and driving cultural change A strength in building relationships, managing stakeholders and influencing across the organisation Great communication skills, comfortable presenting in formal and informal settings and to internal and external audiences A rigorous approach to data analytics and using data insights to influence decision making What can you expect of us?
