A global law firm, in London are looking for a Diversity, Inclusion and Sustainability Assistant to work with the Global Diversity and Inclusion Lead and Global Sustainability Lead to help deliver the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion and Sustainability Strategies. This is an exciting opportunity to help drive forward global initiatives that are facilitating positive change within the firm. The firms aim is to further develop their inclusive working culture and ensure they have a positive impact on the communities in which they operate. This a new role, with scope for the successful candidate to help shape its development over time. Position Responsibilities : Co-ordinate and support the delivery of a programme of regular Diversity and Inclusion and Sustainability events throughout the year. Liaise with the Diversity and Inclusion Employee Networks and Sustainability Communities, supporting them to design and deliver annual action plans and event programmes. Lead on communication campaigns for Diversity and Inclusion and Sustainability activities, including liaising with the Communications team to build awareness of ongoing projects, increasing transparency around progress and celebrating successes and impact within the firm and via social media. Maintain, develop and promote the Diversity and Inclusion and Sustainability intranet pages and external webpages. Lead on submissions for related benchmarks and awards (where applicable). Work with the Graduate Recruitment and Development team to maximise benefits with partner organisations and seek new opportunities to engage with diverse talent. Support the Global Diversity and Inclusion and Sustainability Leads to report on key metrics internally and externally, including diversity and environmental data reporting. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the firm. Keep up to date with best practice through attending external conferences and learning events. Work collaboratively to support the implementation of local and global culture and engagement events and initiatives through partnering with key stakeholders from the HR, Culture and Wellbeing teams. Skills & Experience: Be highly motivated and organised with a strong attention to detail. Have a proactive attitude with a clear enthusiasm for working on Diversity and Inclusion and Sustainability related projects. Be proficient in Microsoft suite, primarily Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Have a high degree of written, oral and digital communication skills. Be a creative thinker, with the ability to see problems from different angles and suggest alternative solutions. Experience of working within a professional services firm Experience of working in a diverse and cross-cultural global organisation. Experience of supporting on Diversity and Inclusion and Sustainability programmes, events and activities. This a full time, permanent position with agile and flexible working. 50/50 office/home.
