A leading retailer in the UK is looking to recruit for a diversity and inclusion director. This retailer has been a household name in the UK for generations and has a reputation of being one of the most well-regarded retailers in the world. Diversity, equity and inclusion has been on the agenda for this organization for many years, they created a diversity board three years ago and are now looking to appoint a director in a standalone role to shape and execute the company strategy. Reporting to the HR director, you will assume responsibility for the design and execution of the D&I agenda that underpins the people strategy for the business. You will be responsible for producing tangible results by interpreting complex data and statistics to collaborate with board level executives and department heads across the business that drives the agenda forward. This newly created role will see you have a meaningful impact on change ensuring the business is leading the way with the diversity, equity and inclusion agenda. The organization is looking for someone who is currently operating at a senior leadership level within the D&I space. You’ll currently be a head of diversity and inclusion or D&I director within a large organization. The sector that you work in is not important to this business and applications will be welcomed regardless of the sector you currently work in. What is important is that you have an in-depth knowledge and network within this space, along with the gravitas to drive the agenda across the executive board and senior leadership team. In return the business is offering a highly competitive salary of 140,000 plus a comprehensive benefit package including a 40% annual bonus, car allowance and generous holiday and pension contributions.
