We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a highly prestigious US law firm, in the heart of the City. They are seeking to hire a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Manager on a full-time, permanent basis in their London office (with hybrid working arrangements in place). This is a brand-new role in London and the successful applicant will work closely with the US counterparts to manage the firms’ DEI initiatives. This will involve developing practices to recruit and retain diverse Lawyers and Business Support Staff and coordinating Global efforts to ensure an inclusive firm-wide culture. Main responsibilities will include: developing and managing innovative programmes, producing data reports, partnering with Marketing teams to manage client D&I opportunities, managing external diversity sponsorships, driving the firm’s diversity retention and promotion efforts, and assisting with the firm’s diversity hiring efforts. In order to be considered for this role, you will have prior experience of working on D&I initiatives in a law firm or professional services environment, as well as budgeting, presentation, time-management and problem-solving skills. The DE&I Manager hire must also possess a professional demeanour and the ability to use diplomacy, mediation skills, presentation skills and a passion for diversity, equity & inclusion. A highly competitive salary of up to circa 90,000 per annum is on offer, plus benefits and the firm offer a progressive & collegiate environment with flexibility as and when required.
