Summary Focused on Diversity and Inclusion, we’re looking for a Communications and Marketing Lead who’ll bring together teams to build clear plans and lead campaigns for multiple audiences.  You’ll chair our Communications and Marketing Working Group on Diversity & Inclusion and will work with leaders across the organisation to ensure we remain relevant for our existing audiences and are also able to reach new and diverse audiences through an inclusive and well considered marketing and communications approach.  Inclusion & Diversity at the National Trust – Listening better to understand Our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion What it’s like to work here Reporting into one of two Senior Communications and Marketing Leads, you’ll be part of the planning and operations team. The team’s role is to join the dots – bringing audience and organisation goals together into one plan. We’re often the first point of contact in the communications and marketing function – helping other teams get the best of our expertise and our channels. We bring different teams together – internal communications, external communications, social media, content, creative and many others – to deliver communications and marketing campaigns. We learn from what’s been done, always looking for continuous improvement.  You’ll be linked to our Inclusion and People teams, helping those leaders to develop communications and engagement that meets audience needs and supports our strategic goals.  Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon, however there is a chance to explore and agree remote working arrangements which strike the right balance for you and the Trust. Your role will involve travel to our head office in Swindon to meet with team members.  What you’ll be doing Please view an example of a recent piece of work we’ve completed here: Inspirational black histories and the National Trust  As an expert in diversity and inclusion you’ll use your knowledge to influence and advise colleagues on how best to deliver messages and engage audiences, utilising multiple communications channels and marketing approaches, thinking imaginatively about language, tone of voice and imagery.  You’ll work with experts across the National Trust’s Communications and Marketing teams to co-ordinate activity to support key organisational messaging and with other members of the planning and operations team, you’ll identify opportunities to bring activity together in a way that makes sense for audiences.
