Diversity & Inclusion Training Specialist (Full Time or Part Time) 38,000 – 45,000 salary pro rata Birmingham, UK (remote) Are you: Not only passionate about Diversity and Inclusion but consider yourself a specialist in this field? Talented at designing interactive people development solutions that are stand-out in terms of creativity and impact? Experienced at facilitating training (face-to-face or live-online) in a way that leaves attendees feeling inspired (with delegate/customer feedback to prove it)? Role Summary RightTrack Learning is a second-generation, ‘boutiquey’ learning and development company that’s been designing and delivering training solutions for organisations across all sectors since 1988. They are known for their ability to craft bespoke solutions with a creative twist and regularly incorporate actors into training design. RightTrack shuns the usual corporate vibe and opts instead for a flexible, forward-thinking, people-focussed approach to doing business. They are looking for a Diversity & Inclusion specialist to split their time between facilitating training, responding to client briefs and generating programme content. The successful candidate will be stand-out in terms of training delivery style, have a talent for designing ‘out-of-the-box’ solutions or activities that take delegates on a memorable learning journey, and have a penchant for evaluating the effectiveness of their work. Last, but not least, it’s safe to say RightTrack Learning pro-actively welcomes a diverse range of applicants. There is some degree of flexibility in the package and role and they encourage people (with relevant skills and experience) to apply, preferably with a covering letter, even if they bring a slightly different mix to the table. The Role in Detail Training Delivery Deliver interactive Diversity & Inclusion related training programmes including, for example, Conscious Inclusion, Courageous Conversations, Inclusive Leadership, Inclusive Recruitment and Managing Banter. Courses are delivered as short sessions remotely and face-to-face: i) via MS Teams or Zoom so tech-competence is important, as is an understanding of how to adapt programme design to maintain a memorable online delegate experience ii) face-to-face at client premises UK-wide when overnight stays might be required. Many of RightTrack’s courses use actors, however, training will be offered if the successful candidate has no prior experience. Customer Consultations Work with sales colleagues to consult with project sponsors from new or existing client organisations regarding culture, D&I strategy and objectives in order to scope tailormade solutions. The role requires someone who can communicate authentically with individuals at any level of an organisation, from any sector. The successful candidate will have a talent for writing compelling proposals that outline winning people development solutions aligned with customer requirements. Proactively build ongoing, strategic relationships with customers. Training Design The successful candidate will bring a creative approach to designing experiential activities and courses (often from a blank sheet of paper) that smash the ‘diversity & inclusion training is boring’ myth out of the park! Strong written communication skills are imperative. A passion for staying at the cutting edge of Diversity & Inclusion is crucial for keeping content and approach relevant and fresh. The Company Best Bits A family business with strong values which means we are committed to supporting each other (and having fun!) no matter what. Small internal team means you’ll have the opportunity to influence and make a big impact, fast. The team work remotely so it is not a requirement that the successful candidate is Midlands-based however, the successful candidate will be required to travel to Birmingham for face-to-face team full-day meetings at least once a month. Everyone is given Birthdays and Christmas Eve as extra holiday days. RightTrack operates a flexible working policy allowing colleagues to choose working hours that support a good work-life balance. If you are keen on joining this exciting, forward thinking company please attach a CV, preferably with a covering letter, and they will be in touch soon.
