My client, a highly respected organisation responsible for the promotion and regulation of professional standards of practice now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Equality and Diversity specialist to join them on a permanent basis. This key role offers the opportunity to lead aspects of the organisation’ Equality and Diversity agenda, with a significant focus and involvement in externally facing Equality and Diversity programmes and initiatives. This is a busy and varied role in which you will contribute to the preparation of strategic and business plans, assess training needs and contribute to the development of training in relation to equality and diversity, provide advice on technical aspects of the E&D agenda, oversee Equality policy consultations, draft responses for external and internal consultations, mange engagement events and projects and much more. To be considered you will require previous experience managing equality and diversity activities, including policy development and programme management, ideally gained in a regulatory, professional or similar environment. You will also require excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills, the ability to think strategically and analytically and strong project and programme management skills.
