memcom recruitment are proud to announce an exciting opportunity for a talented Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Manager with demonstrable experience of developing EDI strategies to help transform our client, a leading professional association based in Central London. This is a new, extremely influential position which will lead on all matters pertaining to EDI, and ensure the organisation embraces and champions a culture of EDI both internally and externally within the profession it represents. Joining at the start of a journey of EDI and cultural change, the successful candidate will help shape an EDI strategy which will have a significant, lasting impact, challenge racism and discrimination, promote best practice and improve understanding, and identify what needs to change for both the organisation and the occupational therapy profession. As well as having a proven track record in EDI, the chosen candidate will be able to lead and embed cultural change within a complex organisation with multiple stakeholders. The role will need excellent communication skills the ability to work with key partner and representative groups, initiative and creativity – and a desire to champion EDI on a large scale.
