New to Market – Equality and Inclusion Lead – Glasgow Salary – 39000 – 42000 DOE We need you to be able to: Provide expertise on all aspects of equality and inclusion at a strategic and operational level. Assist in delivering the development, implementation and evaluation of our equality and inclusion strategy. Translate equality legislation into policy and practice. Build and drive initiatives that truly make an impact, collaborating closely with stakeholders. Use data analytics to measure the effectiveness of our approach and understand and communicate areas where further improvement is desirable and make recommendations; and Work across all services assisting managers to audit their area(s) and embed further equality and inclusion and build capacity. We need you to demonstrate: An in depth understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusion issues. A track record in applying different and innovative approaches to advancing and mainstreaming equality, diversity, and inclusion. Strong experience of the Inclusion agendas and social trends. Confidence and expertise in the subject matter, with excellent knowledge of Diversity and Inclusion issues in the UK. Experience in: The development of strategy and delivery. Developing and delivering change programmes across all levels of an organisation and working with and influencing staff. Developing and implementing equalities initiatives that have demonstrated positive outcomes. Contributing to translating legislation compliance into strategy and practical operational delivery. Working with data and using this to inform policy and initiatives; and Contributing to the successful delivery of positive organisational and cultural change.
