Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Lead, 6month FTC – Edinburgh We have a fantastic 6month contract opportunity for an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Lead, offering remote/hybrid working with offices based in Edinburgh, paying 180 – 250 per day. Reporting into the Head of Organisational Development the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Lead will be responsible for: Implementing policies and procedures to ensure continuing legal compliance, and monitor and report progress as necessary Drafting papers and reports and presenting the information as appropriate to influence continuous improvement at Senior meetings Give expert guidance to our HROD teams to support solid compliance in areas such as recruitment, L&D, and employee relations Support the EDI Strategy to further improve the diversity of workforce Work with colleagues to create a high-quality EDI dashboard, with aligned KPIs developed, to improve the EDI MI proposition Support with the analysis of the EDI training provision and make recommendations for improvement Support with the delivery of the EDI Comms Strategy and associated Action Plan Support the sustainability and influence of colleague networks and inclusion groups Ensure the business remains legally compliant with equality legislation (Equality Act 2010 and SG Specific Duties) Skills and Experience required: Proven experience of colleague networks and senior leadership engagement on the EDI agenda Analysis Able to manage the design and implementation of various HROD initiatives or policies, evaluating results and making appropriate changes and improvements as required Building Capability for All Chartered CIPD membership (or working towards), or relevant other qualification e.g. employment law Proven understanding and application of equalities legislation and leading practice in EDI Proven experience leading the EDI agenda on behalf of a complex organisation For further information about this position please apply.
