Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Manager Agency Reference Number: 7095270 An NHS Organisation in London is looking to appoint an Interim Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Manager for 4-6 months. This is a band 8a/8b position (dependant on experience) with a hybrid of onsite/working from home. The primary responsibility of the post is to lead a small team which will act as the expert resource for the organisation on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion matters, researching and keeping up to date with all legislative requirements, best practice and NHS specific initiatives to support the organisation to be at the forefront of ED&I issues. The post holder will work strategically to develop and implement a strategy that supports the broad equalities, diversity and human rights agenda, and provide expert insight in terms of the wider NHS and national agenda working alongside NHS Managers and key national network groups. Day rate: 240 – 290 per day PAYE Location: London Duration: 4-6 months Your duties will include: Develop an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy which actively supports staff engagement at all levels of the workforce Provide strong and visible leadership to all managers and staff in raising the profile of Equalities, Diversity & Inclusion across the Trust To work in conjunction with the Chair of the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Group in the delivery of the workforce equality, diversity and inclusion agenda To programme manage, in conjunction with the two Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Leads and a range of internal and external stakeholders, the delivery of each strand of the WRES Implementation Plan and the WDES Implementation Plan. Provide professional and specialist advice, guidance, recommendations and solutions, and ensure compliance with national legislation, ensuring staff and the Trust Board understand their collective and individual requirements.
