We are pleased to be partnering our education client in their search for an equality, diversity, and inclusion manager to join them on a full-time permanent basis in London. Reporting to the Head of Organisational Development and Diversity, you will provide strategic direction for the EDI initiative, fostering strong working relationships with all key stakeholder groups to facilitate the development and implementation of the EDI strategy and action plan. The post holder will work closely with the leadership team to drive cultural change and create an inclusive environment, helping to ensure that procedures, practices, and service delivery are non-discriminatory and promote equality, diversity and inclusion. About you Knowledge and understanding of EDI and its practical applications preferably within higher education or other public sector organisations. Excellent understanding of EDI legislation and its application in policy Ability to think and plan strategically. Proven ability to use skills in influencing and persuading persuasion to present a strong case for EDI, with effective interventions aimed at developing a culture that values diversity and creates systems to encourage exclusivity. Excellent interpersonal communication skills Excellent organisation skills and the proven ability to work under pressure. Proven ability to work, part of a team and support colleagues as well as readiness to work pro-actively on your own initiative. Significant proven experience in delivering successful EDI projects or interventions. Significant proven experience of cultivating and building open and productive working relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders to achieve the desired outcomes.
