Search Human Resources is currently partnering a leading Manchester based public sector organisation to recruit a Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Manager. This is a permanent opportunity paying up to 46,000 The purpose of the role is to provide specialist advice and support on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion that enables the organisation to be a fair regulator and employer Key responsibilities will include: To provide expert advice and support across the organisation in the following areas Compliance with legislation, associated duties and other statutory obligations Identifying the ED&I considerations associated with policy development, processes and project implementation Considering the impact of the regulatory activities of people who share protected characteristics Engage with a diverse groups and stakeholder organisations to inform of the work the organisation does and to influence and coach the associated organisations on ED&I and fairness Be responsible for providing expert guidance to ensure ED&I principles are integrated into strategies, policies, procedures and all business activities Develop and implement plans to make progress against the ED&I strategies Analyse ED&I data, reports and other information to identify any patterns for people who share protected characteristics Design and deliver learning solutions and training Attend and present at internal and external events Support staff across the organisation and embed ED&I considerations into the work they do Create an environment that nurtures and empowers staff The suitable candidate for this role will be an ED&I expert, ideally you will be experience in managing multiple projects and stakeholders.
