Your new company This large public sector organisation, based in Birmingham are looking to bring someone on board in a newly created role to head up their ED&I strategy within the team. The role is 100% remote working with no travel, all home working, it is a 9 month FTC with the possibility afterwards of being made permanent. They are a great company, with a good supportive team. Your new role Within this role you will need to produce an ED&I strategy for them, create an action plan and deliver this ED&I strategy throughout the organisation. You will need to develop the ED&I reporting system as part of the implementation of their new HR system, iTrent. You will be working closely with the HRD and Recruitment Manager to review recruitment approach to encourage applications from underrepresented groups and identifying new approaches and digital approaches to recruitment. You will be advising on policies and carrying out assessments on current policies. What you’ll need to succeed In order to be successful you will need experience of developing and delivering ED&I strategy and initiatives ideally within a public sector organisation previously. You will need up to date knowledge of legislation and best practice when it comes to ED&I as well as hands on experience of advising on policies and carrying out Equality Impact Assessments.
