From May 2022, HR will be moving to a new operating model; designed to deliver a more streamlined, consistent and effective HR service to support the delivery of Goldsmiths strategy and as such are seeking to appoint a permanent EDI Officer, to join them at this exciting stage of evolution. The HR Equality, Diversity and Inclusion function at Goldsmiths is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the EDI strategy and as part of this, working to progress equality through policy development, training, positive action initiatives and projects. As the EDI Officer, your role will be to work collaboratively with colleagues within the HR team and across Goldsmiths to ensure equality, diversity and inclusion is fully embedded into everything they do. This will involve developing and implementing initiatives and objectives in support of the EDI Strategy, as well as working on projects such as Athena SWAN and other charter mark requirements. With a deep commitment to promoting equality, and a passion for delivering projects that lead to measurable change, you will have the opportunity to shape an exciting programme of work within HR and the broader college. To be successful in your application, you will demonstrate experience in Equality, Inclusion & Diversity, particularly in supporting staff equality networks, planning events and carrying out research and data analysis to inform policies and EDI initiatives.
