Reporting to Director, Head of People Development Purpose of the role As our Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Advisor, a new role for the firm, you will work with the Director, Head of People Development and the wider National People Team to support Crowe in achieving the aims and objectives of our firm-wide ED&I strategy that is focused on the attraction, retention and development of diverse talent. Working in partnership with our established networks (Women’s Empowerment, Race, Ethnicity and Cultural Heritage (REACH) and LGBTQ ) and those being formed, the ED&I Advisor will deliver projects and activities aimed at creating an inclusive culture where all our people can flourish and play a key role in advising, guiding and championing behaviours that support diversity and inclusion. Responsibilities Working within and alongside the wider National People team and under the guidance/direction of the Director, Head of People Development: Champion diversity, equality, and inclusion through all our people-related activities. Within an agreed framework of projects and priorities, work with the wider National People team and key stakeholders to develop our processes, policies, and strategies to promote ED&I across the firm. Act as liaison with each of our networks, attending regular network meetings and our ED&I Steering Group. Prepare and manage the minutes and actions from the ED&I Steering Group. Assist the ED&I network leads and ambassadors on formulating annual plans and strategies. Report on agreed KPIs to monitor and review the progress and effectiveness of our ED&I activities, producing accurate and timely management information to leadership / stakeholders as required to support our ongoing review of the effectiveness of our approach. This includes updating the firm’s CSR-ESG team, as appropriate. Support and lead, as appropriate, on work with external parties/affiliations/sponsorships such as Women in Finance, Stonewall, Race at Work Charter and others. Work with the People Communications & Marketing Director and wider communications team to devise, co-ordinate and deliver effective and innovative ED&I internal and external campaigns. Work with relevant third parties to enhance our internal and external ED&I campaigns. Keep up to date and well informed on latest developments, best practice models and wider accountancy sector activities in the ED&I space, representing Crowe where appropriate on sector/professional body meetings. Oversight and co-ordination of the budgets associated with ED&I, linking in with the core People Development Operations team. Skills & Experience Relevant experience across the ED&I space, preferably within a professional services environment, with the ability to show up to date knowledge of the current ED&I thinking and trends. Able to identify and share innovative solutions to ED&I issues. Strong communication skills, demonstrable experience in building effective relationships with senior stakeholders and the ability to deliver effective and engaging presentations to the relevant client/business groups. Excellent planning and organisational skills, with a focus on continuous improvement, and the ability to manage and deliver projects successfully. Organised, analytical and comfortable working data, management information and KPIs. Proven experience working with third parties. Willingness to travel between the regional offices to meet with stakeholders as well attend and engage with ED&I events, meetings and training.
