Page Personnel HR are working on a brand new role within a public sector organisation in Manchester. They are recruiting an Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Lead on a part-time basis to build on and spearhead their current strategy and workplan. The role will coordinate, promote and engage access to a range of projects, campaigns and initiatives which progress the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Strategy and workplan for the business. Client Details Our client are a reputable organisation within the public sector that work closely alongside the NHS. Due to exciting changes within the business, they are recruiting for a part-time Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Lead. The role will support the HR team and wider business by coordinating and promoting a range of projects, campaigns and initiatives which progress the company’s strategy and workplan. The role is part time (20 hours a week), based in Manchester and offers hybrid working. Description The key responsibilities for the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Lead are leading, developing and monitoring EDI strategies, preparing and maintaining action plans, coordinating EDI schemes, training sessions and programmes, coordinating and delivery a year-long programme that recognises and celebrates a wide range of protected characteristics, updating and maintaining intranet pages, coordinating, hosting and facilitating events, monitoring communication channels, producing reports, contributing to the development of policies. The role is based in Manchester and offers hybrid working. Profile The successful candidate will have/be: Previous experience in a similar EDI role experience in a project management role experience with organising events excellent communication skills strong time management and organisational skills computer literate with MS Office and systems qualifications such as ILM or CMI in EDI Management desired not essential Job Offer Our client offers a salary up to 50K FTE, hybrid working, 20 hours a week
