Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Lead: Permanent: Warrington or Derby based with hybrid working available: Paying 50,000 – 55,000 (DOE) Benefits Morson Talent are proud to be supporting Rolls Royce SMR in their search for an ED&I lead to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a newly created, stand-alone position within the business to implement ED&I strategies/solutions, assist and train managers on core policies and ways of diversifying the workforce/acting as a resource for support for them with anything ED&I related. The ED&I Lead would also be required to set up, develop and manage network/groups within the business (e.g. LGBTQ, BAME, Military, Disability etc.) and represent the company at external events as well as the below: Responsible for developing and leading an inclusivity strategy with aligned priorities and plan to ensure we are a consistently inclusive business To ensure that all aspects of our business have a continued focus on equality, diversity, and inclusion To oversee the creation and ongoing development of diversity groups Work with managers across Derby and Warrington on individual business function ED&I plans To ensure ED&I is woven through all talent attraction routes to market and processes To work with the Talent & HR Team and STEM Working Group on Early Careers ED&I initiatives including social mobility Create appropriate dashboards and measures to chart progress or areas of development across the approach to Talent in RR SMR Create the right learning and awareness sessions for line/hiring managers or ED&I and unconscious bias To represent the business externally on all ED&I matters To be considered for this role a strong generalist HR background with a focus on ED&I activity is essential as well as the below skills/attributes: Evidence of implementing equality, diversity and inclusion within a large organisation. Experience of the production of strategy/policy documents. Experience of successfully chairing and facilitating meetings. Project management in the area of equality, diversity and inclusion. Experience of working with local and national networks. Experience of translating strategy into practical operational delivery. A CIPD qualification would be highly desirable
