The Opportunity A regulatory body in Financial Services has an urgent need for an EDI Manager This is a 12 month fixed term contract that will be based in the City of London The salary is c 70.000 plus good benefits Once safe to do so, this will be three days a week in the office and two days a week from home The detail The Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Manager will have a pivotal role in building EDI capability across the business A key influencer in the organisation, they will work across all levels of the organisation to gain commitment to EDI activities Duties Lead the development of EDI inception project plan providing guidance and expertise. Implementation and delivery of EDI roadmap and annual plan Reviewing existing EDI policy and propose and initiate new EDI policies, procedures and practices to further the EDI agenda Initiate, build and manage diversity networks and programmes to ensure that all colleague groups are engaged and have a voice in the organisation Identify, source and deliver training and education on equality, diversity and inclusion for all levels of the organisation up to and including Board Skills and Experience Educated to degree level, or equivalent. EDI recognised qualification preferred. Proven experience of developing and implementing EDI strategy, frameworks, tools and policies with measurable impacts. Thorough knowledge of equality legislation, codes and best practice and impacts on colleague experience and organisational effectiveness. Experience of successfully leading end to end EDI programmes Ability to influence cultural change through the delivery of an engaging EDI strategy
