Sytner Group is looking to appoint a Head of Diversity and Inclusion to successfully drive this key area of focus to the next level in our business. This is a new role that will add genuine value; building on our commitment to our customers and colleagues alike – current and future. This position will be instrumental in promoting new initiatives relating to Diversity and Inclusion by proactively building and implementing plans to promote diversity as part of our commitment to “Develop Talent and Build Careers.” Working in partnership with our Divisional Heads of HR and senior managers, you are most likely to be a resourceful manager who has substantial experience in heading up D&I in a forward thinking organisation. You will be able to demonstrate a great track record of making a difference through tangible results in your existing role. Your passion for your specialism will shine through and you are likely to be looking for a career move into a dedicated HR and L&D Team with a reputation for delivering consistently high levels of colleague engagement. You will work at a strategic level, but also at grass roots level in our dealerships; reviewing job roles and their design. You will review current policies and procedures and ensure that we behave in a truly inclusive and progressive way in selecting and retaining a workforce which represents the communities we operate in. You will undoubtedly relish the opportunity to work in tandem with our L&D, Recruitment and Central HR functions to provide creative and innovative solutions so that we can lead the way in recruiting and retaining the best talent. Your existing experience will enable you to promote Sytner and D&I across our internal and external channels, building and maintaining relationships with external, diversity-related bodies. Your own views and findings will also be supported by working collaboratively whilst championing and implementing the ideas of the Sytner Group’s dedicated D&I Forum.
