Head of Diversity & Inclusion Permanent Hybrid working – commutable to London Up to 100,000 20% bonus Network HR are excited to be working on a retained basis in partnership with a leading Insurance business that are genuinely passionate about Diversity & Inclusion, being at the forefront of their agenda for some time, this organisation is now ready to take the D&I strategy to the next level and therefore, require an experienced D&I specialist to design and drive the agenda across the globe = exciting times! The purpose of this role will be to develop and implement the strategic D&I framework for the business and implement policy, targets and action plans that drive a high performance, diverse and inclusive culture. – Work with key stakeholders to agree D&I objectives and develop action plans to measure progress • Be a trusted advisor and champion for D&I, applying inclusion and diversity knowledge while demonstrating understanding of the business’ global needs • Provide guidance and subject matter expertise on all aspects of D&I • Attend, lead and/or develop meetings relating to the D&I agenda, networking appropriately • Provide training, guidance and support for employees to build understanding on equality, diversity and inclusion issues • Contribute to the design of training programmes to ensure that they develop inclusive behaviours • Coach and build positive D&I within business units (including diverse talent pipelines) • Be an ambassador and thought leader for D&I both internally and externally • Play a lead role in formulating a consistent approach for internal development opportunities • Develop specific initiatives, organise events to promote equality, diversity and inclusion • Work with the HRBPs to review the recruitment processes to ensure the company attracts candidates from a broad range of backgrounds • Work with the HRBPs to implement effective D&I solutions for their client groups; • Measure the impact of all D&I initiatives and refine future plans to ensure continuous improvement • Ensure that D&I compliance and reporting is in place and operates effectively • Assist with the preparation of D&I reporting for Boards and Committees as required • Keep abreast of feedback and broader external developments to ensure that innovative solutions are proposed to senior management. Experience: • Experience of developing and implementing D&I initiatives in practical and innovative ways; • Current knowledge of D&I best practices including legislation; • Ability to demonstrate data informed approaches to D&I; • Ability to act as a coach and lead, building skills, knowledge, and capacity; • Proven experience in influencing and inspiring others to adopt mindsets and behaviours that build sustainable change around D&I; • Well-connected externally into D&I networks and communities; • Proven experience in developing quality, productive relationships with senior stakeholders across a wide geographical remit; • Competent using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder skills; ability to build commercial relationships quickly; • Strong organisational skills characterised by diligence, efficiency, flexibility and reliability; • A critical thinker with a passion for D&I; This is a fantastic opportunity and if this is something of interest then please do apply!
