Choose your path, Build your career, Own your future This role can be based anywhere in the UK – providing you are in commutable distance to an RSM office About the role Working with the Employee Experience team, part of the wider People team, you will assist the National Diversity & Inclusion Team (D&I) to support in the delivery of the firm’s Inclusion agenda. Inclusion forms one of the three pillars within RSM’s people strategy and our Listen.Educate.Act Strategy supports this through a framework of dialogue, understanding and action. The remit of the role will focus on providing support to the D&I team on key initiatives, D&I events and communications, D&I analytics and working with the wider People Team to implement change. We are looking to expand the Diversity and Inclusion team to support our vision. Supporting in the implementation of the Inclusion and Listen.Educate.Act priorities working with the National Head of Inclusion, National Diversity and Inclusion Team, People team and other stakeholders. Providing support in the implementation of the projects which arise from the quarterly Diversity and Inclusion Steering Group meetings. Maintain and monitor the current implementation of the Listen.Educate.Act D&I communications programme, by liaising with internal/external communications team,, Employee Resource Group Leads and Diversity Champions. Build and maintain relationships with the firm’s Employee Resource Groups and support them to plan, resource and organise events and communications. Support the coordination of internal D&I communications and update the firm’s diversity and inclusion intranet and website as required. Regularly look for opportunities to communicate/ post D&I news on internal communications platforms to increase engagement. Act as the main point of contact for incoming enquiries received by both internal and external stakeholders. Assist in the collating of HR analytical data and information for diversity and inclusion for internal and external stakeholders. Provide support in the implementation of diversity and inclusion benchmarking, awards or submissions, surveys. Complete external market research and keep abreast of D&I trends and initiatives. Provide general administrative support for the D&I Team. This includes arranging meetings, minute taking, budget monitoring, creating Powerpoint presentations as required. About the candidate The ideal candidate will be 1-2 experience of working within the diversity and inclusion field. Is relationship focused and understands the importance of building networks internally and externally. They will be able to work proactively and use their initiative and creativity. They will have the ability to work collaboratively with others and communicate effectively adapting their communication style to different audiences. The ability to work towards meeting deadlines. You will have strong written and analytical skills and be keen to learn and develop your skills in new areas, such as social mobility as well as keeping abreast of developments externally across all areas of focus. Requirements Strong interpersonal skills and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail in written and numeric tasks. Strong IT skills including Outlook, Excel/Data, and Powerpoint skills. Strong organisational skills. Willingness to learn and develop understanding in new areas.
