Adecco Chester are proud to be recruiting on behalf of Cheshire Constabulary for a HR Diversity and Inclusion Trainer to join their team. You will be responsible for designing, delivering and facilitating DEI, Wellbeing, H&S development activities (and materials) that effectively engages and develops the individual, or group resulting in the learning transfer of skills or knowledge which will increase the individual’s personal capacity to deliver in their role. Salary is negotiable from 29000- 35000k with a hybrid working set up with office days in their HQ in Winsford. The duties of the role will include: Design and deliver training on H&S, DEI, MHFA and Wellbeing via classroom and online training sessions Provide effective training sessions across the Force, delivering to all levels of seniority Work with H&S, HR and managers to identify individual and team development needs through a variety of sources, both informal and formal, including analysis of evaluation returns and training requests to ensure skill gaps have been identified and training interventions are fit for purpose Key skills: Training delivery experience, in particular in the fields of DE&1, H&S and Wellbeing Confident in designing and delivering training to all levels of staff throughout the organisation Knowledge of HR best practice Ability to prioritise tasks with conflicting demands/deadlines Coaching colleagues and peers in HR related matters Position is on a fixed term contract until March 2022. Working hours are Mon-Fri, 37.5 hours per week within standard office hours. Based in the Force HQ building in Winsford, you will have access to all on-site facilities, including free parking, canteen and sports facilities as well as Employee Support Programmes.
