Learning Advisor – Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) 32,000 Newark (with flexibility to work from home) Full time 35 hours per week Permanent Closing date for applications: 23 November 2021 First interview: 2 December 2021 Are you passionate about Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) with experience of writing and delivering EDI training for a variety of audiences? They are looking for an individual who has proven experience of delivering training and providing support within Equality, Diversity and Inclusion to take them forward on our EDI journey to achieve their vision where everyone can benefit from and act for nature with them. They are at an exciting moment in our 110-year history, with an ambitious new strategy in development setting out a vision of nature in recovery, with abundant, diverse wildlife and natural processes creating wilder landscapes where people and nature thrive. The next 10 years will be critical in determining what kind of world they will all live in. About you You will have a passion for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and a proven track record of supporting organisational change around EDI in a complex organisation, by providing training, support and advice. Your role will be to develop, manage and integrate the delivery of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion learning across the federation and in doing so support the successful implementation of EDI strategy. As part of this you will develop appropriate training and training resources including toolkits to empower people to lead EDI in their organisation. You will provide a confidential sounding board to other EDI and HR professionals around implementing cultural and behaviour change. Your breadth of knowledge of diversity and inclusivity legislation and emerging issues is important, as well as its application across numerous work areas, not least HR, community engagement and campaigns. You will be a confident communicator and creative in your approach in keeping EDI at the forefront of everyone’s agenda. You will have knowledge and experience of developing training packages and measuring their success. You will be a motivated and resilient self-starter, working within the EDI team to support the Strategic Lead in EDI deliver the strategy. Your role will be largely to work across the federated of 46 organisations to provide training and bespoke support. You will also identify opportunities to continue to raise awareness of important issues relating to EDI. You will be a natural influencer and you will be highly personable and able to build effective stakeholder relationships, internally and externally, at all levels. A genuine passion for leading diversity, equality and inclusion work is a must! A desire to take people on the EDI journey with a critical friend approach, rather than one that is combative.
