About The Role We have an exciting opportunity to join our People team as a Diversity & Inclusivity People Specialist. This role is responsible for managing the implementation of the diversity, inclusion and wellbeing plans across all business areas; stores, sites and Hilmore. The purpose of this role is to work with relevant stakeholders to create the plan through co-ordinated listening activities and then deliver agreed activities and initiatives including relevant training, communications and engagement materials to a high standard within appropriate timescales. You’ll support the delivery of the people plan and business deliverables and effectively manage the D&I and Wellbeing projects. You’ll ensure all relevant people policies and associates practices are in line with current legislation and work with relevant managers to drive continuous improvement. This is an engaging role, and will facilitate, co-ordinate and take part in listening activities with people at all levels and seek feedback from peers to improve working knowledge and provide feedback to others. This is such a vital role within our organisation and plays a huge part in developing company wide plans to make Morrisons a more attractive and inclusive employer and proactively promote awareness, understanding and acceptance in D&I and Wellbeing throughout the business. About You Role-specific knowledge, skills & experience: This role would someone working with HR or ER Experience of working on and managing change projects and an active interest in Diversity & Inclusion and wellbeing Knowledge of Diversity & Inclusion best practice in other organisations Understanding of Equality Act 2010 and how to apply this Working knowledge of Morrisons people policies and procedures (Internal applicants only) Ability to practically develop and apply our people policies, ensuring these remain in line with current legislation Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identifying themes and trends that will act as input to plans and solutions Demonstrates an ability to influence and confidently challenge stakeholders to reduce risk The ability to listen to our colleagues and stakeholders and act upon feedback received Ability to quickly establish strong relationships with people at all levels within a multi-site organisation The ability to remain highly effective in changing business circumstances Demonstrate passion and commitment to D&I and wellbeing Experience of supporting change initiatives Experience of designing and implementing specialist training interventions, face to face and e-learning
