Senior Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Officer Full Time, Permanent Midlands 35,000 – 40,000 per annum Working with a HE client who are looking for an experienced EDI professional with a strong equality charter background in collecting and analysing this data. The role is 100% remote. This candidate will work with the senior management team to support and develop the EDI race equality charter along with gender pay gap issues with a key focus on assessing and delivering their findings. Applicants will need to be equality specialists with a proven track record of implementing and tackling equality issues with a data driven focus. Main Duties and Responsibilities Requires an individual to collect, analyse and present equality data, for example, gender pay gap reporting and equality impact assessments Work with key stakeholders to provide tailored advice, support and guidance whilst supporting departments across the University you will implement effective initiatives and activities. Detailed knowledge of Athena Swan, the Race Equality Charter or similar equality charters is key, alongside other relevant work experience. Experience developing and delivering training, briefings and seminars to a wide variety of audiences in both staff and student networks. Essential experience: Equality Charter experience A vast understanding of gathering and delivering EDI data An understanding of equality and diversity legislation, issues and good practice, including Equality Charter Marks qualification Ability present and adapt information to meet the needs of diverse groups of people and/or audiences.
